Restyling or renovating dozens of Domino’s branches

Domino’s Pizza is run on a franchise structure, in which the franchise-holders have a great deal of say. MVRO developed three different renovation options specially for the franchise-holders.

Details
MVRO drew up an agreement for fitting out or refurbishing the take-away pizzerias, giving the client three options. The first was that MVRO could restyle the branch. In that case, the current interior would be upgraded within a few days in line with the Domino’s own Image 2020. A second option was that MVRO would coordinate the building of a new location or the redevelopment of an existing store. A project like that would take three to four weeks. A third option was that the new business would be delivered turnkey and that MVRO would therefore also be responsible for the entire financial process.

Current franchise-holders could choose to have MVRO coordinate their project. In the end, a large proportion of the 100 businesses were taken in hand. The challenge in this extensive plan was mainly in streamlining all the processes and activities such that the tight deadlines were met. This was definitely easier said than done with workers from nine to ten different parties having to carry out their work in spaces no bigger than 60 to 100 square metres.

In the meantime, MVRO has built and rebuilt some Domino's Pizza branches in Belgium as well, following the same principle(s) as in the Netherlands.

"MVRO delivers individualised solutions by offering the Domino’s franchise-holders three options."
