To build an exclusive Marlies Dekkers store
One of MVRO’s most exciting clients is Marlies Dekkers. This Dutch designer and entrepreneur has been making an international name for herself since 1993 with lingerie in which women feel ‘beautiful and seductive, but strong and independent at the same time’.
Details
The collaboration with Marlies Dekkers dates back to October 2007. Initially it only involved supplying furniture for her new Amsterdam store on Berenstraat. An exercise that turned out so well for both sides that MVRO was then called in to work on the turnkey delivery of a splendid new store in The Hague. The Marlies Dekkers organisation’s own design department designed the concept (of course).
Various national and international brandstores
After The Hague, turnkey projects for a franchise-holder in Utrecht followed and then the building of new Marlies Dekkers stores in Cologne, Berlin, New York, Genua, Rome, Nijmegen and Breda. Every MD-store is unique, but they all carry the same recognisable Marlies Dekkers signature.
"Eccentric and exciting, in a seductive setting. Unique surroundings, created by skilled craftsmen."
